Shortlist revealed for Institute of Directors Awards

THE Institute of Directors has shortlisted 17 directors from across the region for its annual Yorkshire awards.
Leading the nominations is Herwig Vennekens, managing director of Haribo UK, who is shortlisted for three awards, including overall director of the year.
He will be up against Neil Fisher from Airco Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and Gav Winter from The Test People for the overall prize.
There are seven awards being handed out at the June 11 event, with the winners going forwar to the national awards later in the year.
Chairman of the judging panel Richard Tuplin, who is sales and operations director of Jelf Insurance Partnership, said: “This is a very strong shortlist and it was a tough job for the judges to choose from a high standard of nominations.”
