Appointments: Saville, Wates Construction, Moirae

TECHNOLOGY firm Saville Audio Viail has appointed sales and marketing director Andy Dyson, who takes over from Ed Everard.

He was appointed to the main Saville’s board as commercial director in 2012 after working his way up from divisional manager.

 The firm manufactures and installs digital signage, video conferencing facilities and other audio-visual equipment.

He said: He said: “I am delighted to take on responsibility for the company’s marketing, developing an area we are already very proud of.

“Whilst maintaining the industry leading ‘Communicate’ annual publication, I intend to focus on further development of our e-marketing including our website and social media presence.

“I am also looking forward to working with our Conference & Live Events team to capitalise on the investment we’ve made in new technology, in particular in high resolution LED display products.”

Wates Construction, the firm behind the £100m Central Square development in Leeds, and who has recently bought York-based Shepherd Construction’s engineering and management divisions has boosted its regional presence even further.

Alistair Gill joins as bid centre manager, supported by newly appointed proposals manager, Diana Holden.

Wates Construction’s current project portfolio also includes Haribo’s new £35m production facility in Wakefield, the £5.6m XP Free School in Doncaster and the £12m Bradford Forster Academy.

Branding and web design company Moirae has appointed a social media account executive, Emma Robinson. 

She will look after all aspects of social media for the company’s clients, in the newly created post.

Ms Robinson said: “I am really excited to be joining Moirae and help them to expand their social media services. They are a great team who work hard to make sure that their clients get the best possible service and I am really looking forward to being a part of that.”

David Plant, managing director of Doncaster-based Moirae, said: “We are delighted to welcome Emma to our ever expanding team.
