SME: Keybury, Marpat

SECURITY firm Keybury Fire and Security has seen new contracts worth £30k.
The firm has won work installing CCTV across schools in West Yorkshire and Calderdale, as well as Nottinghamshire.
Late last year, Keybury moved from its base in Skipton Road to 4,000 sq ft premises nearly double the size on Worth Enterprise Park.
The firm invested £350,000 in the purchase and refurbishment of the building.
Keybury Fire and Security’s operations director Patrick Beebe said: “Our domestic CCTV business also remains in fine heart, with increasing demand from across our West and North Yorkshire heartlands, and across into north-east Lancashire.
“Importantly, we can now offer a simple upgrade path which allows us to install the latest HD cameras on conventional CCTV wiring. This represents a highly cost-effective upgrade path from lower quality CCTV pictures to much higher quality HD images.
“This new technology is already benefiting many of our customers looking to upgrade their systems in a way that is quick and affordable. It has significantly boosted our CCTV business and we are confident it will continue to do so in the future.”

Cost reduction consultants Marpat have expanded across the UK with a franchisee model.
Their first franchisee is based in Bristol and the firm will be launching a campaign to recruit more.
Martin Kaitcer, director at Marpat said: “This is an exciting opportunity to let other people use our proven business model. We are uniquely positioned as our business solution is win-win. If we don’t save our clients money on their overhead costs, we don’t charge them anything”. Letting other people learn our methodology and receive our full support will once again be another win-win formula.
Franchisee James Luck said: “This franchise works well for me. I am running my own business, with the support, training and experience of these guys at Marpat”.
