Hotel undergoes £3.5m revamp

A £3.5M investment programme has allowed the Radisson Blu Hotel in Leeds to undergo a major transformation.
72 rooms of the hotel, (which has a total of of 147 rooms) including meeting rooms and public areas, have seen a major revamp.
The first phase of the project is now complete, whilst the second phase, commencing in 2016, will finish the remaining guest rooms.
A cocktail bar and the Fire Lake Grill House, a US concept and the first of its kind in the UK, have been added to the hotel’s offerings, and meeting rooms have also had a refurbishment.
Malcolm Rann, regional director, Radisson Blu Hotels, UK said: “We are proud to unveil our new-look hotel, bar and restaurant.
“This is a significant investment and represents a marked change for the hotel.
“We are confident that this enhanced product offering and the new Fire Lake bar and restaurant concept, will help to reaffirm our position as one of this thriving city’s leading hotels.”
