FUTURE LIFE, a wealth management firm based in Sheffield, has appointed trainee paraplanner Sophie Smith
She joins Future Life from Aviva, where she worked for three years in a support role to financial advisers.
Ms Smith is studying for exams with a view to becoming a financial planner.
Future Life is based in Renishaw and offers a bespoke financial planning service to generators and receivers of wealth, such as business owners and retirees.
Managing director, Jillian Thomas, who is due to become president of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce in October, said: “As a successful firm we love to take on young people and help develop their careers. Sophie has already shown great promise and we have high hopes for her in for the future.”

GUNNERCOOKE has appointed three new partners as part of a Yorkshire recruitment drive.
Rebecca Kelly joins after having worked with businesses in house and in private practice, and has spent time at Field Fisher and hlw Keeble Hawson.
Deborah Niven also joins from hlw Keeble Hawson where she was an associate solicitor, and has also worked at Virtuoso Legal. She will be based in Sheffield.
Simon Tomlinson has been appointed partner in the real estate and construction team. Founding partner Darryl Cooke commented: “I’m pleased to be growing our team of partners with three such high-calibre individuals and their experience will add tremendous value to our clients’ work.
