Developers set for Enterprise Zone industrial site

DEVELOPERS the Gregory Property Group have put forward plans for a 91,476 sq ft site within the Leeds City Region Enterprise Zone on the East Leeds Link Road.

Gregory is seeking permission for a 39,375 sq ft warehouse with offices, yard and parking provision within a self-contained site on Thornes Farm Way.

Richard Tovey, director at Gregory Property Group said, “The £32 million East Leeds Link Road was developed to enable access to key economic development sites in the Aire Valley Leeds regeneration area.

“The location and transport connectivity make the Leeds City Region Enterprise Zone a strong location for business expansion and relocation and we are keen to bring to market this bespoke opportunity for businesses that can also benefit from a range of incentives.

“With the occupier incentives offered under the enterprise zone status we are confident of strong interest in the site which offers potential for a prominent and bespoke building delivered to the client’s specification.”

The Leeds City Region Enterprise Zone covers 142 hectares of development land with four sites; Thornes Farm, Newmarket Lane, Logic Leeds and Temple Green.

Companies locating within the enterprise zone can benefit from a range of incentives including reduced business rates, worth up to £275,000 over a five year period, grant support through the Leeds City Region Business Growth Programme, simplified planning, plus a bespoke package of recruitment and business support.
