Print firm wins major retail contract

A YORKSHIRE printing firm has launched its range of personalised gifts in top high street retailer Debenhams.

Digitronix based in Brighouse, has launched a range of personalised photographic products sold in a unique gift pack format .

The Nellie Personalised Gifts range has already been snapped up by Argos where it went on sale five months ago and has now made its debut in 12 national Debenhams stores including Leeds and Harrogate.

Virgin Atlantic is also selling the products in its in-flight magazine while Norwich’s flagship department store Jarrold, has also signed up to the range.

The range is the brainchild of Tom Stevenson, who along with Paul and Mandy Stevenson, founded Digitronix 14 years ago.

The Nellie range was launched to capitalise on the growing personalised photo product market while giving high street retailers a slice of the action.

To date, it is the only company to offer personalised photo products in a redeemable voucher pack format.

Nellie’s current product range includes mouse mats, mugs, calendars and canvas prints with a photo book currently under development.

Tom Stevenson said: “By packaging our products in the form of ‘redeem later’ gift packs, Nellie bridges the gap between the traditional and the online retailer. High street retailers can now be a part of this market without having to invest in ecommerce sites, search engine marketing and plant and machinery – Nellie does all of this for them.”

“I’m thrilled that already so many big brand high street retailers have seen the benefits of Nellie Gifts and hope that it will soon become a ubiquitous gift-giving medium.”
