G&H electrified with £2.5m contract with US firm

LEEDS-BASED firm G&H Group has secured a £2.5m contract to deliver mechanical services to US-based firm Rockwell Collins.

Rockwell Collins provides communications and aviation electronics for commercial and government clients.

G&H Group’s contract is with BWI, and will see the firm fit out Rockwell Collins’ 40,000 sq ft laboratory and 30,000 sq ft of office space.

The US giant is relocating to new premises in Reading.

Pre-construction director at G&H Group, David Davis, said: “The importance of this work can not be underestimated – Rockwell Collins operates globally and is an approved British defence contractor that plays a vital role in ensuring the world’s safety through its continuous research and development.
