Packaging firm seals deal for 100,000 sq ft unit at enterprise zone

CORRUGATED packaging firm inspirepac has signed a 20-year lease for a 100,000 sq ft unit at the southern gateway to the Sheffield City Region enterprise zone.

The unit is on the 200-acre Markham Vale site next to the M1 motorway which has been developed by Henry Boot and will see them join existing occupiers including Andrew Page and Great Bear.

“This deal was a particularly positive one for both parties as it involved building a very specific and purpose built site to support an expanding successful business,” said Ben Ward from Henry Boot Developments.

“The past 12 months have been remarkable, with seven major deals taking place, and we are sure interest will continue to follow as a result of the recent activity.”

The site, which will be inspirepac’s sixth in the UK, was completed in June and also includes a 6,000 pallets space warehouse which will allow the company to service its national customer base.
