Appointments: Michael Lewin Solicitors, Rollits, Carter Jonas

LEEDS firm Michael Lewin Solicitors has appointed Richard Coulthard as a director.
The firm has made the appointment just weeks after an MBO with Abbie Keech taking over as managing director.
Mr Coulthard joins the board from his current position of head of stress at the firm, where he has overseen a significant growth in the practice area.
Abbie Keech said: “Richard has achieved some remarkable results within his Stress role, and his valuable business and legal know-how will be a great asset to myself and the business as we look to grow the firm through more innovative offerings.”
Mr Coulthard commented: “This is an amazing opportunity and I am proud to be offered the position, I look forward to expanding Michael Lewins business and leveraging our leadership within the regional legal market.”

SOPHIE WHEELDON and Hollie Burnett have been appointed at law firm Rollits.
The pair join the property and private client teams respectively, after completing their training contracts with the firm.
Ralph Gilbert, managing partner at Rollits, said: “We are extremely proud of the Sophie and Hollie’s achievements. Over the last two years they have worked hard to complete their training contracts and qualify as lawyers.

PROPERTY consultancy Carter Jonas has appointed two graduates to expand its Northern planning team.
Alison Cheetham joins Carter Jonas after graduating from the University of Leeds.
Joshua Brear recently graduated with a Masters degree in planning from Newcastle University.
