Lifestyle: Lambert’s Yard, Brewers Market, Glenbrae

INDEPENDENT concept store Lambert’s Yard is about the become the first stockist in the UK, outside of London, for designs by tailor Timothy Everest MBE.

Mr Everest undertook training in Leeds, and has dressed the Bond villain for the new Spectre film, set to hit screen on 26 October. 

He will be launching his ready-to-wear collection at the Leeds creative conglomerate.

The public launch is taking place today, Thursday 15th October from 7pm. Other menswear brands such as Dobson, Campbell Cole, Rose & White, Charlie Borrow and Yorkshire designer Ross Barr, will be unveiling their winter collections alongside whisky tasting, shoe shining and food by Leeds’ Farmers’ Market.

There will be an informal Q&A session between 4pm and 6pm, with the main event starting at 7pm.

Brewers Market at Canal MillsTHE second installment of the Brewers Market is being launched this year.

Canal Mills’ weekend beer festival returns in 2015 on November 6-8 with brewers including Fourpure Brewing Co, Five Points Brewing Co, Northern Monk Brew Co,and Liverpool Craft Beer Co signed up.

Pop up bars by Tall Boys Beer Market and progressive breweries including Mikkeller, Firestone Walker and Odell Brewing Co will also be there.

The Hedonist Project will be taking care of the spirits with a pop-up Whisky and Gin bar and Latitude will bring a large wine selection.

Representing Leeds’ street food scene will be the superb Grub & Grog Shop from Holbeck, wood-fired excellence from The Pizza Fella & Boozy Q BBQ, the latest offering from Sela Bar’s ever growing and impressive food offering.

Music forms an important part of Brewers Market and Eighty Six, Hide & Seek Records, Anthony Dobson, Body Language DJ’s, Tall Boys DJ’s and Alex & Amy Audio Chronicles, as well as live art from the talented resident artists of Assembly House have all been lined up.

KNITWEAR manufacturer, Glenbrae, has been appointed as the official knitwear licensee of Scottish Rugby.

The deal will see the Huddersfield firm produce a range of clothing items featuring the Scottish Rugby emblem for an initial two year contract.
