Appointments: hlw Keeble Hawson, 360 Chartered Accountants, HR Media,

THE commercial and private client teams at hlw Keeble Hawson are being strengthened with the appointment of four newly-qualified solicitors.

The lawyers joined permanently after starting as trainees in 2013. Claire Darwood joins the commercial property department, Henry Hill will work with the corporate team, Charlotte Ollerenshaw takes up a role with the litigation and dispute resolution department, and Ruth Tucker who joins the clinical negligence team.

hlw Keeble Hawson has also recently appointed seven new associates and a new partner.

Managing partner, Paul Trudgill, commented: “Training to become a qualified solicitor requires considerable commitment over a number of years. EAST YORKSHIRE firm 360 Chartered Accountants has appointed its first practice manager, Cheryl Gledhill.

Ms Gledhill has spent 30 years working for Selby and York and will be responsible for all HR, financial and property matters.

Andy Steele, director of 360 Chartered Accountants, says that she will be a fantastic asset to the business and her experience will prove invaluable.

“We have very ambitious plans for growth and Cheryl has been through that process with her previous firm. She will ensure our back office systems remain compliant, efficient and streamlined. “

360 Chartered Accountants opened its doors five years ago with just 3 people. It now employs 17 members of staff across its offices in Hull and Melton and plans to take on more in the near future.

SOUTH YORKSHIRE public relations agency HR Media, has hired an account director to boost their team.

Richard Fidler joins from Sheffield Newspapers where he worked as the night editor for The Star.

He will be working on a number of HR Media clients including Westfield Health, B Braun, Owlerton Sports Stadium, Age UK and Ecus Environmental Consultants.

He will also be part of the company’s senior management team featuring managing director Martin Ross, Natalie Harrison, Allie Dransfield and Susan Waple.

This will be Richard’s second spell working at HR Media after previously being an account executive and account manager from 1998 to 2005.

Martin Ross, managing director of HR Media, said: “We are delighted to welcome Richard back ‘home’. He has a wealth of experience and gives us a vital insight into the modern media environment.”
