BBC presenter Dan Walker will be the host of the 2016 Business Masters.
The University of Sheffield graduate still lives in the city, although his career as a sports journalist has taken him from BBC’s North West Tonight to present Football Focus and Match of the Day.
Mr Walker has also worked on the Olympics, Wimbledon and the Grand National and appeared on Songs of Praise and Celebity Mastermind.
The awards, which are being held on Thursday March 17, 2016 at New Dock Hall in Leeds, aim to celebrate excellence in enterprise and entrepreneurship across the region.
