Hotel group sets the trend with multi-million pound makeover

HOTEL group Malmaison Hotel du Vin is pouring millions of pounds into their Yorkshire offerings.

The Victorian office block in Swinegate in which Malmaison Leeds is located has a newly-launched Chez Mal bar and brasserie which replaces the existing restaurant.

This investment was part of a “multi-million pound” injection into their three Yorkshire sites, which also include two Hotel du Vin sites in Harrogate and York.

Earlier this month Fraser Hospitality, the owners of the Malmaison Hotel du Vin Group announced the creation of 90 jobs with a new hotel in the region, location as yet undisclosed, as well as being named official partners for the Mobo Awards 2015.

Subsidiary of Frasers Centrepoint, Frasers Hospitality UK Holdings, bought the Malmaison Hotel du Vin group in a £363m deal from a KSL Capital Partners affiliate in June.
