Property people: Colliers; Malcolm Hollis

COLLIERS has made three senior appointments in its Leeds office as it plans to continue its momentum into 2016.
Its Leeds office head Greg Styles said the appointments “signify our commitment to growing the office” in the region on the back of a successful year.
He added: “2015 has been a strong year for the Leeds office, with the last few months in particular being significant as we have been involved in some of the region’s most high profile deals – most notably, advising Carlsberg UK on the disposal of the 22 acre landmark former brewery site at Leeds’ South Bank. With our new team members on board, we look forward to continuing this success and growth strategy into to 2016 and beyond.”
Simon Hill has moved from Lambert Smith Hampton to become an associate director in the industrial and logistics team, where he will work alongside his former manager at LSH, Robert Whatmuff.

Mark Tyler has also swapped LSH for Colliers, and will be a director in its healthcare team having worked exclusively in the healthcare sector for nearly 15 years. He will be responsible for developing Colliers’ healthcare offer in the North of England and Midlands.
The third recruit is Mark Alcock who, after nine years at BNP Paribas, joins Colliers’ building consultancy team as an associate director.

INDEPENDENT building surveying firm Malcolm Hollis has appointed four people as it continues its push for national growth.
Steve Taylor joins the Leeds office as an associate and will head up the projects service in the region. He moves over from CBRE where he worked with a number of large national clients including Marks & Spencer, Cornerstone and CBRE Investors.
The firm’s other recruits will be based in its Birmingham and London offices and follow the large number of promotions and appointments Malcolm Hollis has already made during the year.
