Leeds director joins racing drivers on the track

THE latest driver to join Ginetta Racing Drivers Club and is raring to earn his motorsport stripes.
David Powell, director of Overhead Management in Leeds has become the newest driver to sign up to the Ginetta Racing Drivers Club.
The 39 year old is finally putting the skills he’s learned throughout a number of track days, including a Ginetta Corporate Track Day at Blyton Park, into practice, with a full season in the British GT support series.
He will be driving car number five, the same number used by the likes of Senna, Schumacher Mansell and Vettel.
A qualified Chartered Accountant, David has previously worked for a FTSE250 logistics firm and Global Management Consultancy, before becoming involved with Overhead Management parent company, Auditel in late 2006.
David said; “I’ve known of Ginetta for a while and always enjoyed driving their cars and keeping abreast of the going’s on a HQ – which is just down the road from my office.
“I’ve followed their first two years of the GRDC with interest, and the cost-effective motorsport on offer, along with full trackside support is a fantastic way to get into motor racing.”
