Behind the Brand: A first for tailored shirts at Leeds’ Reiss Store

Reiss in the Victoria Quarter is standing proud as the only Northern store to include tailor-made shirts for men to complement its personal tailoring service; as Reiss extends its personal tailoring offer to include shirts in five UK stores from December, with a view to launching in an additional nine stores in 2016.

“As the only stand-alone personal tailoring store within Reiss we pride ourselves delivering a bespoke customer service. The addition of our exclusive tailored shirts allows us to further personalize our services for our customers” said Giorgio of the Reiss Leeds store.

The tailored shirt services includes cuffs, collars, sleeve length and even how the buttons are stitched. Along with this tailored service Reiss have a bespoke personal stylist offering a one to one consultation, guaranteeing your new wardrobe is tailor-made for you alone.

Reiss were kind enough to answer the following questions about their history, inspirations with Style Now.

How did Reiss first come about?
David Reiss opened the first Reiss store in 1971 at Bishopsgate, London after recognising a gap in the market for affordable, premium, quality tailoring. With roots in menswear, the brand has also moved into iconic womenswear, grown to stand in more than 100 sites worldwide, and has now proudly celebrated its 40th birthday.

Who are Reiss’ target audience?
Reiss has a broad appeal to men and women with an eye for style. From young style-hunters to grown-up sophisticates, Reiss design has an unlimited appeal.
