Appointments: LCF Law; Rex Proctor & Partners; CPP Group

LAW firm LCF Law has appointed insolvency specialist Jo Barnes as a partner.
Ms Barnes, who will be based at the firm’s Leeds office, joined from Carrick Read Insolvency, where she has been a partner since 2008.
LCF Law’s head of disputes Charles Abraham, said: “She brings a wealth of experience in the insolvency sector which is the perfect fit for our business recovery and insolvency services.”

CONSTRUCTION consultants Rex Procter & Partners have appointed four associates, including two to its Yorkshire offices.
Leeds Metropolitan University graduates Marcus Rathbone and Andrew Cowling have been with the firm since the beginning of their careers, in 1999 and 2001 respectively.
Joe Deegan, executive director in charge of personnel development, said: “The expansion of our management team augurs well for the future and will strengthen our capacity to deliver our trademark first class service offering.”
Rex Procter & Partners has offices in Bradford, Leeds, London and Marlow, and is currently looking to build on its strong reputation in the north by developing its presence in the south of England.

STOCK MARKET-LISTED CPP Group, the international assistance business, has had its appointment of Abhai Rajguru as a non-executive director approved by regulators.
Mr Rajguru, who has extensive experience at a senior level in the financial services sector, will become chairman of the audit committee.
Roger Canham, non-executive chairman, said: “I am delighted to welcome Abhai to CPP and believe his broad experience will enable him to make a significant contribution to the Board as it continues to develop the group’s future strategy.”
Mr Rajguru is currently an independent member of the audit committee of HM Treasury, chairman of Alexander Rosse and director of DBV Finance.
