Firefighters launch Leeds gym

FIREFIGHTERS Andre Seelig and Stuart Trees have launched a 7,500 sq ft gym facility in Holbeck Urban Village.

The pair, who are both full-time employees of the West Yorkshire Fire Service, opened the new facility on the weekend, incorporating CrossFit and Form Fitness programmes, as well as housing weightlifting and Re:Form, a specialist movement therapy centre.

Form Leeds was launched by the firefighters after having successfully run CrossFit West Yorkshire in Armley for five years.

The pair thought it was the right time to expand with their industrial-style offering, with shipping container changing rooms and reclaimed timber-clad walls.

Andre Seeling, Owner, explains: “Form Leeds is Fitness, transformed. We aim for superb coaching in small classes of like-minded people performing functional movements to help them feel healthier and stronger than they thought possible.”
