Cyber-security specialist invests £1m in Leeds site

INFORMATION assurance specialist NCC Group has invested more than £1m in its cyber security operations centre in Leeds.

NCC ‘s security centre will provide cyber security monitoring and defence for 24 hours a day.

The operations centre will be staffed by 44 employees.

NCC Group has a second operations centre in the Netherlands as a result of its recent acquisition of Fox-IT.

Lee Driver, director of security operations for NCC, said: “Cyber incidents, both internal and external in origination, continue to increase in volume and sophistication to the point that they now make the headlines on an almost daily basis.

“It’s important that organisations not only maintain traditional security controls, but continue to evolve their ability to rapidly detect and respond to threats and this investment shows our commitment to helping our customers address their cyber security resilience challenges with a unique and deep specialism.”
