Former Chamber of Commerce building collapses into road

A FORMER Chamber of Commerce building collapsed on Saturday night, causing a main road to be blocked and train services to be disrupted.
The former mill on Bradford Road, Dewsbury, had previously been used by the Mid-Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce but has been derelict for some time.
The front of the building was covered with scaffolding, which also fell into the road at around 10pm on Saturday.
Police were called and the road remained closed into Sunday as the building was made safe. No injuries were reported.

The three-storey building was put up for auction with a guide price of £200,000-£220,000 in 2014.
