International: High Definition Group; Parker Bestobell; UKTI

BEAUTY group High Definition has launched a partnership with Indian company MyGlamm as part of its ambitions to “revolutionise the brow industry in India”.

The company was attracted to the growth in India’s beauty market, which is seeing high-profile brand names from the UK enter the Indian market.
It recently visited Mumbai and Pune to introduce its services and product range as it targets international expansion.
High Definition’s chief executive Nilam Holmes-Patel said: “We are very excited about our collaboration with MyGlamm and to introduce the High Definition Group and specifically our famous brow treatment to Mumbai and Pune. We have ambitious plans to revolutionise the brow industry in India, as we have done in the UK.
“We selected MyGlamm from many other companies as the brand is known and loved in India, with premium offerings. We look forward to strengthening the relationship with this well respected and established company.”

SHEFFIELD-BASED Parker Bestobell Marine has won its first order to supply cryogenic fuel gas valves for new build tankers.
The two 15,000-dwt ice-class asphalt and bitumen tankers have been ordered by Groupe Desgagnés of Canada and will be built at Besiktas shipyard in Turkey.
Once built, the vessels will serve the Great Lakes and Canada’s St Lawrence River.
Because of the low winter temperatures in Canada, the valves and actuators have been specified to operate in temperatures as low as -40 degrees – although Parker Bestobell’s cryogenic valves are designed to operate to temperatures as low as -196 degrees.
