Appointments: Muse Developments, Langleys, WSB
THE Leeds office of Muse Developments has expanded with the appointment of Andrew Fairest as senior project manager.
Mr Fairest joins Muse from Barnsley College where he was director of property development for seven years. He was responsible for the development of the college’s £110m major capital development programme.
His previous experience includes project management roles at Jones Lang LaSalle, Mowlem and HSBC Corporate Real Estate.
He will support Muse’s Leeds office in the delivery of projects across Yorkshire, the North East and East Midlands.
David Wells, Muse’s regional director for Yorkshire, North East and East Midlands, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Andrew to the team at an extremely active time for us, being on site with a number of projects across the region. Andrew brings with him a range of different skills which will be invaluable in delivering excellent, sustainable developments.”

SOLICITORS Langleys has appointed Mini Setty to its employment team.
Ms Setty joins from DWF in Leeds having previously held positions at Eversheds and Shoosmiths.
Having initially trained as a barrister, she now specialises in equality and diversity issues and executive terminations.
Kate Hindmarch, head of the employment team at Langleys, said: “Mini has considerable knowledge and experience of employment law and her appointment will further strengthen the advice and services we are able to offer our clients.”
Langleys employs 340 people at its offices in York and Lincoln.

CHARTERED surveyor Rebecca Youdan has taken on a role at property consultancy WSB Property Consultants.
Ms Youdan has more than 12 years’ experience in property management and building surveying.
She has previously held positions at Savills, JLL and GVA.
James Skirrow, who heads the property management team in Leeds, said: “We are delighted to welcome Rebecca to the team. Her wealth of experience has further strengthened our offer which will greatly benefit our clients going forward.”
