Appointments: WYG, Beattie Communications, Irwin Mitchell

THE Leeds office of programme and project management consultancy WYG has announced the appointment of Simon Pringle as head of strategy and corporate development.
He will report to chief executive officer Paul Hamer.
Mr Pringle joins with more than 20 years’ experience. Most recently he was head os sustainability and innovation at BDO.
Prior to that, he was managing partner of sustainable business practice at programme management consultancy PIPC.
He currently serves on the Leeds City Region (LEP) Green Economy Panel and Investment

COMMUNICATIONS group Beattie has strengthened its digital team with the appointment of Jessica McAndrew.
She joins as digital communications director from the BIG Partnership. Prior to this she has worked at Frame Digital, Peach Digital and Groundzero.
She will be working with managing director Laurna Woods and digital marketing director David Reid to further develop the agency’s digital communications.
Ms Woods said: “Content creation and content distribution have become increasingly important revenue generators for Beattie group.
“That’s why we have made a significant investment in growing our design and video teams over the last six months in advance of the launch our Only Content business.
“We are delighted to have signed Jessica. She is one of Britain’s top digital communications experts and will strengthen our senior management structure. We look forward to getting her on board to help drive our creative digital team forward.”

THE Sheffield-based real estate team of Irwin Mitchell has announced the appointment of a trio of solicitors.
James Badger specialises in architectural and engineering work and has previously worked at Kennedys.
Lucie Barnes moves to Irwin Mitchell from Shulmans in Leeds. She will work in the firm’s property litigation team headed up by partner Danny Revitt.
Finally, Daniel Woolnough joins the firm from Kitsons in Exeter. He specialises in a broad range of real estate work, acting for businesses, charities and national companies.
