Appointments:Gregory Property Group, Dacre Son & Hartley, Indigo Planning, Eadon Lockwood and Riddle

LEEDS’ Gregory Property Group has hired former Yorkshire Bank executive John McGhee asa non-executive.

He was recently general manager at York City Football Club, and will remain there in an advisory role.

He will assist on all property funding and financial transactions at Gregory Property Group.

Barry Gregory, chairman at Gregory Property Group said, “We are delighted to welcome John onto our non-executive board.

“This complements the existing resource we have in tax planning and commercial strategy through Trevor Gurney who has been a Non-Executive Director at Gregory Property Group since 2001.”

Gregory Property Group recently announced that Andrew Foggitt was to take up a wider role as Commercial Director overseeing all development activity. Philip Lees continues his role as Project Director for the company and Marjorie Robertson as Company Secretary and accountant.

Dacre Son and HartleyTWO appointments have been made to strengthen the team at Dacre, Son & Hartley.

Jason Preston has been appointed to associate after having led the Settle branch of the business since 2013.

Rob Harper has also been appointed to associate level, having joined the company in 2012. A chartered building surveyor, he specialises in providing surveys and homebuyer reports.

Julie White of Indigo PlanningTHE Leeds team of Indigo Planning has expanded with the appointment of Julie White as associate.

She joins Indigo Planning with more than 15 years’ industry experience.

Ms White has worked alongside a range of public sector clients, including the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Authority, helping to achieve planning permission for a number of blue light projects.

She began her career in the planning teams of Hull City Council and Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council.

Simon Grundy, Indigo Planning’s regional director, and head of its Leeds office, said: “After considerable improvements in regional market confidence and property investment in 2015, we’re pressing ahead with ambitious plans to grow our Leeds team.

“Julie’s appointment plays a key role in this expansion, reinforcing Indigo Planning’s service offering thanks to her extensive experience. We’re also recruiting other team members at both junior and senior levels.”

ESTATE agent Eadon Lockwood and Riddle has appointed Caroline Marsden in the role of senior negotiator.

The firm has offices in South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire, and now employs 25 people.
