Awards: Acceleris, Arkoni, Beverley Building Society

AGENCY Acceleris has been shortlisted in categories at industry awards.
The agency is a finalist in four awards at the PR Moment Awards: Healthcare and Public Sector categories for its work with NHS IQ and The Wheelchair Leadership Alliance, Best Not-for-Profit Campaign for its work with maritime charity The Shipwrecked Mariners’ Society and Best Consumer Campaign for its work with upcycling company Remade in Britain.
Managing director, Louise Vaughan said: “These awards always attract some of the best and most innovative campaigns within our industry, so it’s a real testament to the skills and commitment of the team to be shortlisted in four highly competitive categories.”
Acceleris has its headquarters in Harrogate, Yorkshire as well as offices in central London and teams in both offices worked on the shortlisted campaigns.

MANUFACTURERS Arkoni have been shortlisted at the 2016 Construction News Awards.
A 17,300 sq ft office at Forbury Place in ready on which Arkoni worked has been named as a finalist for Project of the Year (sub-contract up to £2,000,000).
Constructed over eight floors around a central atrium area, it is the largest butt-jointed fire glazing installation in Europe, with a value of £1.5m.
The company has also two new draughtsmen, Michael Bailey and Glenn Teal, to cope with demand from the construction sector.
Arkoni managing director and founder Mark Prentice commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Glenn and Michael into the Arkoni fold. Their combined experience will allow us to deal effectively with demand for design work associated with manufacturing and installation of fire rated glazing and architectural metalwork.”

THE Beverley Building Society has won the best local building society accolade from the Mortgage Finance Gazette Awards 2016.
The building society is celebrating 150 years this year.
