Care firm creates 60 jobs

FOLLOWING a four-year contract win with local authorities, care business Caremark is creating 60 jobs.

The business won the contract with Hull City Council to become on of the council’s preferred suppliers of home care throughout the city.

Caremark employs more than 300 staff, and has already begun the recruitment process to add to its workforce.

Based in Hessle, the business launched in 2010, employing 200 staff. Caremark provides home-based personal care and support services to older people, and to people of all ages with physical disabilities, learning disabilities or terminal illnesses.

Mr. Daniel Rhodes, registered care manager, said: “This is an exciting opportunity for Caremark to further expand their business and reputation in the domiciliary care sector.”

“[Caremark] continue to provide care and support within individuals homes allowing people independence, or in some cases giving them their independence back. This is key. It is vitally important that they continue to do this.”

This new and exciting opportunity which promises to elongate Caremark’s ambitions by providing the local people of Hull with an envisaged 50-60 jobs over the next few months.
