Trinity Leeds hosts first Fashion Festival
LEEDS FASHION FESTIVAL took centre stage as thousands of people watched the first ever fashion show at Trinity Leeds on Saturday 5 March.
Models from Catwalk Model Management stepped out wearing this seasons collections from 20 of Trinity’s retailers, M&S, River Island, Armani Exchange, Coast, Rox, Mango and Superdry to name a few. Models were styled by Regis Hair and 15 cosmetic brands from Boots.
David Maddison, general manager at Trinity Leeds commented: “Leeds Fashion Festival is the ultimate shopping extravaganza for the people of Leeds as well a fantastic platform for young emerging fashion talent, and independent designers from around the city.

The annual Leeds Fashion Festival takes place from 21-30 October this year, featuring multiple fashion, hair and beauty shows for high street brands, designers and independents in iconic city centre shopping sites and venues across the city. With special events planned for fashion students and young designers at the city’s universities who will have the opportunity to showcase their design talents on the catwalk. The University of Leeds, Leeds Beckett and Leeds College of Art have strong Fashion Design courses and its mix of students from all over the country and the world help to mould and shape the fashion scene in Leeds.
The festival plans to be the North’s largest shopping and lifestyle exhibition outside of London, placing Leeds as a city for fashion excellence and collaborating with multiple businesses and individuals to deliver a vast and dynamic programme. The Festival will host a fashion village with pop up shops, industry workshops, live demonstrations, networking events, glitzy parties and talks from industry experts. Leeds Fashion Festival is a landmark event for the City and an event for everyone, the first of this size for Leeds.
