Appointments; TK, BCL Legal, Quality Context

NEWLY rebranded agency TK has appointed Mike Robinson as UK managing director to oversee its Leeds and London offices.
Formerly client services director at TK since 2011, Mr Robinson has spent the last 15 years working in agencies in London and the North.
He has worked with brands including Greggs, Habitat and William Hill. At TK, he has directed projects from global e-commerce websites to national advertising campaigns for Johnstone’s Paints, Howarth Timber and DePuy Synthes, part of Johnson & Johnson.
TK’s founder Nik Entwistle will now focus on the development of the Los Angeles business.
He said: “Mike has been with the agency throughout a period of rapid growth and has been instrumental in taking leadership of the client services team and supporting me in safeguarding our processes and culture across offices, which is a challenge for any business. This new role is a natural evolution for TK, as we continue to drive towards our vision of becoming a creative global agency.”

LEEDS legal recruiters BCL Legal have been joined by consultant Amy Orley.
Prior to her appointment, Ms Orley worked for the Royal Navy as a recruiter, before which she was a warfare officer.
Her focus will be on insurance, litigation and real estate roles. She holds a graduate diploma in Law from BPP Law School, Leeds

SHEFFIELD life sciences company Quality Context have hired a trio of new staff.
David Franks joins as technical manager to the consultancy. Before this he worked at Reckitt Benckiser in a senior quality role.
The analytical services division of Quality Context has been boosted by the appointment of analytical chemists Oladele Olaniyi and John Crawford.
