Agent appointed to landmark Central Square

SANDERSON WEATHERALL has been appointed as joint agent with JLL on Leeds city centre’s landmark Central Square.
Around 150,000 sq ft of office space is still available within the 11-storey 22,220 sq ft building. PwC has already pre-let 50,000 sq ft.
Scheduled for practical completion in May 2016, the building is a two-minute walk from Leeds train station. Central Square will be set in a new public realm consisting of a public atrium and winter garden as well as retailers on the ground floor.
Central Square’s ninth floor will feature a sky garden available to all tenants which will provide views across Leeds and also act as a break out or entertainment space. The building will provide 128 car parking spaces.
Sanderson Weatherall agency partner, Richard Dunn, said: “We are delighted to be working on this prestigious instruction. Central Square offers class-leading sustainability credentials and the building is of such high quality it would not look out of place in the capital.
“There is currently a real appetite for quality offices from occupiers seeking large, flexible footplates of Grade A accommodation in Leeds so we expect interest to be significant.”
