Appointments: Freeths; Colliers; McClarrons

LAW firm Freeths has expanded its Sheffield office with the appointment of Oliver Jackson, who joins as a partner in the insolvency and restructuring team.

Mr Jackson has a wealth of experience, providing advice to corporates, insolvency practitioners and individuals on all aspects of insolvency and restructuring law.

His recent work includes advice on debt recovery, claims by creditors, the appointment process for the various types of insolvency, dealing with antecedent transaction claims, applications made by IPs, advising in relation to ROT and set-off matters, IP’s duties, sale of company assets, administration trading issues, advising on property/ landlord and tenant insolvency issues, directors’ duties and obligations and contentious insolvency matters.

He specialises in all aspects of insolvency and restructuring and has experience in dealing with matters in the automotive, aviation, entertainment, care home, government, banking and financial markets and retail sectors.

Dominic Towler ColliersDOMINIC TOWLER has joined Colliers International in Leeds as a surveyor in its national offices team.

He joins from Sanderson Wetherhall where he was part of the office agency team.

The deal was a landmark transaction not just for the Leeds City Region but the whole of the North of England. McClarronsMALTON-based insurance broker McClarrons has made two more additions to its workforce.

Due to continued growth, this year has seen two more account handlers join the McClarrons team. The appointment of Victoria Knaggs and Luke Clemmit follows the addition of three new account executives and three account handlers late last year.

Luke Clemmit and Victoria Knaggs have both taken on roles as farm account handlers, dealing with a variety of clients from farmers to racehorse trainers.
Operations manager Susan Lewis said: “We are always looking for new people who can add value to our team, who are keen to develop and expand their knowledge and who share our desire to deliver excellent customer service.”
