Off-site manufacturer falls into administration
A FIRM which specialises in manufacturing construction site cabins has fallen into administration.
Hull-based offsite manufacturer Modular Space designed, built and delivered construction site bays for the Costain & Skanska joint venture for CrossRail.
It has also built site offices for Heathrow Airport and units for Wates Construction for its refurbishment works at the London Business School in Marylebone.
Modular Space also delivered prefabricated buildings for school and health projects and provided hotel rooms, student dormitories and care homes.
It recently expanded into the production of modular housing.
The £12m turnover business employed around 80 staff operating from a 103,000sq ft factory.
Kingsbridge Corporate Solutions in Hull is the administrator, appointed on April 15.
