Business leaders team up to make sure Bradford Pride takes place

BUSINESS leaders in Bradford have collaborated to ensure that the annual Bradford Pride event can go forward.

Bradford Pride was originally intended to take place on 28 May in City Park, but n 14 April Bradford Pride organiser Ann Morgan was forced to cancel the event over disagreements with the council over licensing as well as financial costs. She later resigned.

Local business leaders joined together to form a separate committee and organise the event, which brought in 10,000 people last year.

Now, the Bradford Pride event will take place at Osdal stadium, after the Bradford Bulls offered it to the organisation.
