Fresh Pastures for milk provider at major distribution hub

A COMPANY which distributes milk to schools is to construct a new facility and create 78 jobs at a major distribution park in West Yorkshire.
Catalyst Capital has sold 2.7 acres of land earmarked for development at its Link 62 Industrial and Distribution Park at Normanton to Fresh Pastures CIC.
Relocating from Ossett, Fresh Pastures was supported in its new venture by a Business Growth Programme (BGP) grant from the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) to purchase land, construct bespoke accommodation and install new machinery.
Tom Asher, associate director from property consultants JLL which advised Catalyst Capital in conjunction with Carter Towler, said: “This is an important deal for Link 62 – on completion the proposed facility will make a significant contribution to the area’s economy.
“The balance of development plots D and plot C on the park are currently under offer. We will now focus on our plans on plots A and B, comprising 1.02 acres and 2.46 acres respectively, which are suitable for a variety of uses.”
