Creative/Digital: Promotions at brand consultancy; Digital agency expands; and more

BRAND consultancy Propaganda has bolstered its creative offering with the promotion of Lee Bennett and Joseph Hughes to the position of joint head of creative.

Mr Bennett has been with Propaganda for more than a decade, and previously held the position of design director. Mr Hughes returns to the business as part of a renewed creative team.

Propaganda MD Laura Kynaston said: “Lee and Joseph are both held in very high regard in the industry, and bringing these two forces together in this new role will provide significant benefits to our clients and our work. We’ve made a name for ourselves over the past 20 years by creating stunning campaigns for clients, backed up with the security of strategies anchored in insight.

“It’s especially pleasing to see yet another senior position come from within the organisation. Lee joined us at the very start of his career and has worked his way up through the business. Equally, to see Joseph return after several years away progressing other projects, shows just what a compelling proposition Propaganda has. It’s a mark of how importantly we regard creativity, that we now have this representation at this level on our board.”

Diva Creative Leicestershire Partnership NHS TrustCHILDREN in Leicestershire and Rutland have recorded more than 25,000 physical activities in under a fortnight on a new website designed by Yorkshire-based agency Diva Creative.

Move It Boom Rio, developed for Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, encourages children to be more physically active by doing fun activities with friends and family.

The 2016 Olympics-inspired site features an activity tracker in the form of an interactive adventure game, an ‘Activity Finder’ to help inspire fun and innovative activities, and a map of sports and game facilities available in parks across the region.

It has been visited over 33,000 times in its first two weeks since launch.

Part of the larger Health for Kids resource, which was co-created with young people, Move It Boom Rio includes an animated video and online games all intended to inspire them to become more physically active.

Schools can collectively record their activities in a leaderboard competition, with prizes on offer from Leicester Riders basketball team, Leicestershire County Cricket Club, Loughborough Sport, and Premier League Champions Leicester City.

Steven Key, creative lead at Diva Creative, said: “It is fantastic to see so many children not only visiting the website but, more importantly, getting out there and taking advantage of the opportunities available to them locally.

“At Diva, we are always keen to work with young people and develop resources that they want to use.
“Move It Boom Rio is a great example of how by understanding the audience you can create engaging and entertaining content that has a positive impact on users’ behaviour.”
