Augean settles customer dispute for £1.1m

WASTE management firm Augean said it has settled a dispute with a customer for £1.1m.

The Wetherby-based company said the previously disclosed matter has been settled without a legal claim being made.

Augean had highlighted the dispute in its full year results in March, at which time it said the customer had indicated an intention to bring a claim against the company.

The settlement will be treated as an exceptional cost in Augean’s income statement.

Details of the dispute are subject to a confidentiality agreement.
