Swift Group makes £8m investment in manufacturing facility

TOURING caravan, motorhome and holiday home manufacturer Swift Group has started the development of an £8m purpose built modern manufacturing facility at its headquarters in East Yorkshire.

The facility will take around nine months to build and from the summer of 2017 will house production of all the Cottingham-based company’s holiday homes and lodges.  

Swift Group has appointed Alan Wood Partnership and Houlton to project manage and construct the building.

The £8m outlay follows on from other major investments in capital equipment over the past four years as Swift Group introduced its SMART innovative construction systems in touring caravans and motorhomes.
