Construction firm completes eighth Lidl contract

CASTLEHOUSE CONSTRUCTION in Leeds has completed the transformation of the Lidl supermarket in Northwich, Cheshire.

Work started on site in February to upgrade the store with a series of improvements including a 2,066 sq ft non-sales extension incorporating a new entrance and bakery.

External upgrades included the introduction of floor to ceiling glazing of the shopfront, recladding of the elevations and replacement of the doors and windows.

The investment into the store also incorporated layout changes to the car park.

Frank Kofler, director of Castlehouse Construction, said: “The Chester Way store continues our long-standing relationship with Lidl and is the eighth project that we have undertaken for the leading retailer. The works progressed smoothly on-site and we are delighted to have handed over the enhanced store to Lidl.”
