CPP Group restructure to cost £6.5m

A RESTRUCTURE at CPP Group after a turbulent year will cost an initial £6.5m said the group.

The group said it was redesigning its operating structure “to create a more cost-effective and flexible platform that is focused on serving the future needs of the Group.”

It will focus more heavily on digital and mobile channels. After a review of its IT and likely needs, CPP has informed SSP Limited (SSP), its current IT development partner, that it intends to develop its own IT platform.

This will lead to a one-time expenditure of £6.5m together with a cash payment that is currently being finalised with SSP.
