Asbestos specialist secures six-figure funding deal for HQ move

A COMPANY specialising in asbestos removal and remediation projects has moved to new headquarters after a six-figure funding deal.

Lilquest Asbestos Management, founded in 1989, has enjoyed a period of strong growth which has included an increase in staff numbers from four to 40.

The business has purchased a unit in Dodworth in Barnsley, moving from its leased premises in Sheffield.

Lilquest Asbestos Management also has an office in Stevenage.

Director Lee Hodgkins said: “As Lilquest Asbestos Management has grown over the past year, we found ourselves in a position where purchasing our own unit would support our long-term business plan. The new premises have more storage and we also need the space for our new staff and IT systems. The move will also for us to expand further in the future.”

NatWest relationship manager Paul McCarron obtained a six-figure loan to support the move.

He said: “Lilquest Asbestos Management continues to go from strength to strength under the leadership of Lee and the management team. We were delighted to support the purchase of the new premises and wish the business every success for the future.”
