Lebanese canteen set for Leeds launch
A LEBANESE canteen specialising in fresh Middle Eastern dishes will open its doors next week at Trinity Leeds Shopping Centre.
Comptoir Libanais will serve wholesome and healthy Lebanese food in a souk-like setting.
Hearty egg dishes such as Shakshuka with feta, or the signature Comptoir Full Breakfast with spicy Armenian lamb sausage, fool moudamas, zaatar roasted mushrooms, sumac fried egg, chargrilled tomato and Lebanese potatoes served with flatbread feature on the menu.
A healthy selection of sharing hot and cold mezze with traditional dips will also be served, while flatbreads and wraps with chicken, lamb, halloumi or falafel with salad and pickles are available to take away.
The new venue, set to launch on November 15, will also feature the Comptoir Libanais Souk Shop, selling a range of imported foodie gifts, hand-crafted accessories, spices and sweets.
