Fine dining restaurant set for Leeds suburb
A FINE dining restaurant is set for a Leeds suburb is set to open on 19 November.
Simon Jones, who features on Channel 4’s My Kitchen Rules, is opening the Dill & Bay Restaurant in Rothwell later this month.
Mr Jones has been working alongside his father and a team of tradesmen to turn the restaurant refit around in eight weeks.
Mr Jones and his wife Remmy previously ran a highly successful supper club in their home, launching Passion Supper Club in 2015.
Mr Jones said: “We have created an experience that I have named – Yorkshire Dining. It is fine-dining food with a warm Yorkshire welcome and comfortable atmosphere, very much style with substance.
“I hope the restaurant will become the go to place for family celebrations, special occasions, and date nights, which will be as much about the atmosphere and warm welcome as it is about the food.
“Remmy’s sweet treats that we serve at the end of the supper club have often outshone my 4-course creation, and so I also hope the coffee-shop/afternoon tea aspect to the restaurant will take off too. With a wood burning stove and comfortable chairs this winter in Rothwell could be a fantastic place to be.”
The restaurant is open Weds-Sun from noon until 11pm, with last food orders at 9:30pm.
