Narnia-themed hidden market spreads magic in Leeds

A HIDDEN Christmas market inspired by the fictional realm of Narnia is set to enchant the city of Leeds this month as Sneaky Experience transforms Kirkstall Abbey into a festive wonderland.
From December 16-22, guests of Leeds Hidden Christmas Market will be welcomed by Mr Tumnus and walked through a wardrobe into a magical kingdom full of mystical creatures, wandering fauns and of course, a large selection of independent retailers.
Creative Director of Sneaky Experiences, Jamila Juma-Ware said: “We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to create a unique event, allowing people of all ages to re-live their childhood joy through the whimsical entertainment and interaction, bringing a totally new experience to Leeds.”
The event – which is a first for Leeds – will be offering a family friendly atmosphere by day and an adult-only experience – complete with mulled wine, craft ales, cocktails and live music by night.
Company Director at Sneaky Experience Julia Benfield said: “This is the perfect opportunity to really enjoy Christmas festivities, away from the shopping madness, in an idyllic setting, allowing the entertainment to transcend reality and lead you into a magical world.”
