Property developer expands ‘boutique’ gym chain

A Sheffield developer is expanding his gym chain, launching two new facilities in the region and plans to open further sites in Leeds, Manchester and internationally.

David Cross, managing director of Crossbow Developments and CODA architectural studios is expanding his gym chain TRIB3.

He launched the first TRIB3 site on Ecclesall Road in Sheffield in 2016 along with fellow directors Kevin Yates and Dan Summerson.

Now, the trio have opened sites at Sheffield’s Kelham Island and the Source Skills Academy in meadowhall.

Sites have also been proposed in Leeds and Manchester with expansion plans to see ten more gyms developed nationally, with two international deals in the pipeline.
