Rapid expansion sparks move for waste consultancy

A £3m turnover waste management company launched 18 months ago is expanding after taking a five-year lease on premises in York.

BusinessWaste.co.uk works with companies and organisations to save money on waste collection, disposal and recycling services.

Launched by managing director David Adams, the company has moved from its Leeman Road site to Artemis House at Heworth Green.

Langleys Solicitors acted for the company, securing the five-year lease which sees the consultancy occupying the ground floor of the property on Eboracum Way.

Adams said: “We’ve grown rapidly and now employ 40 staff with a turnover of more than £3m. Artemis House provides us with good quality, modern facilities with room for growth.

“We are looking to further expand in 2017 – we’re aiming to employ another 30 staff and are targeting turnover of £7m.”
