Scottish gin brand comes to Leeds for masterclass

Scottish gin brand Caorunn is coming to Leeds next week for a masterclass at The Botanist.

The event, on Tuesday 7 February, will start at 6pm and offer guests the opportunity to taste and create a bespoke Botanist Caorunn cocktail, created by mixologist Joe Hepple.

Throughout the masterclass guests will learn about Caorunn’s five locally-foraged Celtic botanicals including dandelion, heather, coul blush apple, bog myrtle and the fabled rowan berry.

Caorunn says the botanicals give its gins clean, full-bodied and aromatic taste with its long-lasting dry and crisp finish.

The Caorunn G&T is served with thin slices of red apple along with tonic water and lots of ice.

Caorunn is small batch and handcrafted in the Scottish Highlands by Gin Master, Simon Buley.

Simon locally forages Celtic botanicals on the hills around Balmenach Distillery and oversees the infusion of Caorunn in the world’s only working Copper Berry Chamber.
