Traffic Alert: Serious collision causes A1 North Yorkshire closures

The A1(M) in North Yorkshire is closed northbound between J46 (Wetherby/York) and J47 (Harrogate/Knaresborough), due to a serious collision resulting in an overturned vehicle.

North Yorkshire Police are in attendance.

Road users are advised to follow the solid black square diversion symbol leaving the A1(M) northbound at J46 and take the 1st exit onto the B1224.

At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A168. Continue along the A168 until the A6055. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A6055 and re-join the A1(M) at J48.

Drivers should allow extra time for their journeys and may wish to consider alternative routes.
