Khan provides a positive punch for India
OLYMPIC boxer Amir Khan helped to launch a Bollywood themed Yorkshire restaurant.
India the Restaurant in Leeds features a 50-seat Bollywood style lounge which provides diners with the opportunity to watch a Bollywood film, or even a dvd of their own choice, while eating their food.
The restaurant is the first of six planned by the group behind the operation to be opened this year.
Amir Khan said: “I am delighted to be here at India the Restaurant. I love the fact that they offer authentic Indian food in a first rate setting. I have eaten in some of the World’s best restaurants but I know I will be coming back to India the Restaurant.”
India the Restaurant also offers party planning, cooking classes, tailored menus for special occasions, buffets and business lunches and outside catering.
