PwC boosts tax team

ACCOUNTANCY firm PricewaterhouseCoopers has appointed a senior manager to its Sheffield-based tax team.

Philippa Sanderson has joined the department from the firms Leeds office, where she had been senior manager of its corporate tax department since July 2007. She has spent 10 years with the firm since graduating from Cambridge University.

Ms Sanderson’s transfer is hoped to drive the development of the firm’s tax business in South Yorkshire and to support the office’s assurance and advisory teams.

Phil Gregory, senior manager of PwC in Sheffield, said: ” I am delighted to welcome Philippa to the Sheffield office.

“Her appointment will further strengthen our Sheffield tax team, and with her wealth of knowledge she will be a great asset to us and our clients in the region.”
