£7m of new contracts for Clugston Construction
YORKSHIRE building and civil engineering contractor Clugston Construction has won £7m of new contracts.
The projects include a 96875 sq ft extension to the Egger UK manufacturing plant in Hexham, an extension to a nursing home in Middlesbrough for Belle Vue Healthcare and the extension of Redcar Fire Station.
Clugston has also secured a number of smaller educational projects.
The work in Redcar for Cleveland Fire Authority will see the fire station brought up to date with new control facilities and services.
It is estimated that more than 30 people will be employed from the local communities in Middlesbrough and Redcar during the course of the works and 50 on the project in Hexham.
Clugston Construction’s North East regional manager Steve Waggett said: “We are delighted to have been awarded these contracts and it reaffirms our growing reputation in the region that we deliver projects that meet clients requirements.”
